For Julia – a pastor, mother-of-two, and business owner – daily life is far from routine.

Julia is the NextGen pastor at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Clarenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, having previously served as the children’s ministries pastor. Since 2017, she has been the Director of Children’s Ministry for the PAONL (Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador).

Besides pastoring, Julia wrote Conquering Fear, a children’s devotional book, along with other devotionals; speaks at a variety of ministry training events; and launched Equip Family, a website designed to support leaders with resources and training to encourage families of faith.

Julia is grateful to Tyndale’s faculty for their mentorship and teaching. “Tyndale equipped me by giving me a solid theological foundation to launch into working in ministry,” she said.

While at Tyndale, she met her husband Andrew (BA 2014) who serves as lead pastor at Calvary Pentecostal Church.
