Joy, who graduated with an MDiv from the Seminary in 2016, achieved her scholastic goal to hone her teaching skills in order to engage her generation with the Word of God.

“Praise God that I’ve been here for over a year, “she said, “but at the back of my mind I’m thinking that I might not be here next year. I might not have the financial ability to continue my studies,” with her oldest child entering university the following year and her husband being the only breadwinner.

But this story had a happy ending. After graduation, she became a pastor and an Alliance Eastern District Women’s director.
