Eleanor Moyer
TBC (1942)
Eleanor graduated in 1942 from TBC, and she almost immediately headed to Northern Ontario, which was then burgeoning and opening up as highways brought in residents, tourists and industry.
She built up the famous Dorion Bible Camp, which she directed for 26 years. In 1974, she had her work recognized by Christian Camping International, which presented her with the President's Award. When it came time to move on, Eleanor turned the camp over to an Ontario Bible College graduate.
As well as her work with Dorion Bible Camp, she also ran the Christian Supply House in Thunder Bay, and filled in the years with teaching religious education in the Lakehead public schools.
