Glenford worked for more than 40 years as teacher, vice-principal and principal before being appointed Superintendent of Education of the Toronto District School Board and Jamaica's Ministry of Education.
He earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Educational Administration from the University of the West Indies. In addition, he obtained a Bachelor of Education from York University and a Master of Theological Studies from Tyndale.
He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Ebenezer Holiness Church of God in Toronto, and served as presiding Bishop for the branches in Jamaica, Haiti and the United States.
Besides his work as a teacher and preacher, he conducted interdenominational conferences, seminars and workshops both nationally and internationally.
