Sharon Ramsay

Since graduating from Tyndale, Sharon has worked as a registered psychotherapist, and registered marriage and family therapist, helping individuals journey through unexpected experiences in different seasons of life.

Since graduation, she has taught several courses at Tyndale Seminary, and has led retreats and workshops focused on such topics as racial reconciliation, radical hospitality and gender equality.

Serving on the Boards of Ontario, Canadian and American associations for marriage and family therapy, she appreciated being able to serve as a Christ follower in the marketplace.

Her first academic publication, “Consideration of C/MFT Ethics: A Canadian Perspective," in AAMFT's Systemic Ethics textbook came to fruition in February 2024.

She is looking forward to engaging in qualitative research this fall for her doctoral thesis in counselling and spirituality at Saint Paul University in Ottawa.
