Mervin Ganton
TBC (1913)
My entrance to the TBC was to me a definite experience of God’s guidance. I heard of the institution for the first time only three days before I entered as a student. My first morning in the prayer room cleared away any misgivings I had.
I was deeply impressed by the emphasis laid upon thorough, systematic study of the Bible; upon the need and power of the life of prayer; and by the studies of the person and work of the Holy Spirit. The studies on missions and the training in personal and practical work, and in music, were most interesting and helpful.
The wider my experience, the higher the value I place on the TBC training for the Master’s service.
