Jim is an international consultant in adult education with a passion as a lifelong learner to teach adults across cultures. He has written curriculum and conducted seminars for encouraging Christians and training trainers internationally.

Besides his BRE from OBC, Jim earned his Master’s in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University and a doctorate in the same field from the University of Toronto.

He taught on the faculty at Trinity Western University and with Wycliffe Bible Translators Canada.

Since 2017, he and fellow Distinguished Alumnus Paul Estabrooks (BA 196) continue with www.goteachglobal.com to train trainers, teach teachers and disciple adult educators around the world. Their Standing Strong Through the Storm text is now in nearly 50 languages.

Since 2019, they have hosted a weekly radio program titled Men Alive, heard on TWR (Trans World Radio) from South Africa, and on North American Christian stations.
