Rev. H.W. Bower
TBC (1912)
My first knowledge of the Toronto Bible College was through a fellow student. He pleaded with me to come to Toronto, but I was planning to go elsewhere.
My plans were not God’s plans, however, and in the year 1910 I left my old home in Pennsylvania, and entered the Bible College to commence my training for his service. I was first impressed with the wonderful presence of God, the love for souls, and the power in prayer.
The Bible became a new book, and I was settled in many doctrinal points, the assurance of my salvation, the coming of my Lord, and I learned to believe the old Book from cover to cover.
