Event Type: Tyndale Centre for Pastoral Imagination
On Thursday, November 28th 2024, local pastors from across the Greater Golden Horseshoe (Peterborough to Niagara Region) are invited to join the Tyndale Centre for Pastoral Imagination for a time of rich discussion, connection, and a light brunch as we continue our Fall conversation series, "Being Formed // Forming Others".
This month we will be joined by Lyndsay Thompson, MDiv, DMin (in-progress). Lyndsay is a lecturer in Counselling and Thanatology at Tyndale. She is currently completing her Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation with a focus on story, imagination and desire. She runs a group psychotherapy practice with her work focused primarily on kids ages 7-12 and their parents. Outside of work and study, you can find Lyndsay training for a marathon or fly-fishing.
This month, Lyndsay will be discussing the question, "What is the role of desire in pastoral ministry and spiritual formation?"
