Examines key concepts surrounding food security, food sovereignty, livelihoods, and the interrelation between the production and consumption of food. Also explores the evolution of contemporary global agricultural systems as well as the origins and impacts of social movements for sustainable agriculture, animal welfare, and fair trade.
