Tyndale Now Offers A Fully Online Accredited MDiv
On September 30, 2020, Tyndale became the first accredited seminary in Canada to offer a fully online Master of Divinity program after receiving Senate approval to remove residency requirements.

Tyndale Plans for the Winter Semester 2021
For the Winter Semester, Tyndale University will continue to deliver courses online using our web-based online (asynchronous), livestream and hybrid (online/livestream) delivery formats. We are following closely the provincial government guidelines for reopening and if possible we hope to be able to offer a limited number of courses in person as well as in a livestream format.

Library Services Update | September 11, 2020
Beginning Monday, September 14, 2020, additional library services will be available to Tyndale students on campus by appointment. The hours these services will be available are Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Campus Reopening – A Phased Approach
The Campus Reopening & Student Experiences Task Force, with the approval of Cabinet, has developed plans for the fall semester and the phased reopening of the campus.

The Campus Reopening & Student Experiences Task Force is continuing its work to make plans for the fall semester and the phased reopening of the campus. As work progresses, a plan that sees some of the William J. Horsey Library staff returning to campus has been implemented.

Tyndale Forms Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council
Tyndale University has appointed an Advisory Council for Diversity and Inclusion. The council will be co-chaired by a Cabinet member and a staff member; Dr. Barry Smith, Sr. Vice President Academic & Dean of Undergraduate Studies, and Karen Gallimore, Director Campus & Conference Services.

Fall Tuition Questions Answered
There have been questions about whether tuition this fall will be reduced since courses are going to be delivered online and through distributed formats. The tuition and fees students pay is a significant investment. Even within this format, Tyndale University’s commitment to continuing to deliver academic excellence and unique student experiences is unchanged.

Standing Together
Tyndale University celebrates its racial and ethnic diversity. However, nurturing understanding, reconciliation and building community amidst racial and cultural diversity is a challenging, complex process. The current racial tensions in the United States has only heighted an awareness that Canada is not exempt from those tensions.
