The Tyndale Board of Governors has been conducting a search for a new President & Vice Chancellor. Following the community discernment process in February and the development of the President’s job description, the position was posted on several websites.
The Executive Committee has been operating as the board’s “hands and feet” in the initial phase of the search. I am pleased to report on their behalf.
A number of applications have been received from candidates who were recommended and from those who applied directly. Qualified individuals have been determined and asked to engage in the next step of the selection process.
The feedback from various constituent groups which make up the Tyndale Community has advanced this process. The Board of Governors expects to announce a new President & Vice Chancellor before Dr. Gary V. Nelson’s retirement in June of 2020.
