Degree Completion Program
The Degree Completion Program (DCP) in Psychology is a non-traditional program specifically designed for adults who want to complete a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology but who are unable to attend traditional semester programs. Students who transfer 30-42 credit hours into the program† can complete the degree within 3 years if they complete 10 courses per year, or within 4 years if they complete 8 courses per year.

Tyndale’s Psychology program will prepare you to make a difference by giving you a solid foundation in core areas, including behavioural, cognitive, personality, abnormal and social psychology. Faculty will support you in tailoring your studies to your interests and career goals. You can be part of an important field that seeks to predict, treat and even interrupt mental illness, abusive behaviour or addiction.
Study in one of the few undergraduate programs in Canada that gives you not only research opportunities, but practicum experiences as well. Examples include working with special needs students or with youth at mental health centres. You will have the option to conduct your own research as an honours student and the opportunity to present your work to both peer and expert audiences.
