James D. (Jim) Cunningham (BRE, 1968)

Dr. Jim Cunningham [BRE 1968] is an international consultant in adult education with a passion as a lifelong learner to teach adults across cultures. He has written curriculum and conducted seminars for encouraging Christians and training-trainers internationally. Jim has his Masters in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University and Doctorate in the same field from the University of Toronto. Jim has taught on faculty with Trinity Western University and Wycliffe Bible Translators Canada. He Served as a consultant with Open Doors International and is currently the Executive-Director of Go Teach Global Society, a not-for-profit that trains adult educators across the globe. He teaches Theology of Persecution and Discipleship at selected seminaries and provides training for Trauma Healing seminars (in South Sudan/Ethiopia). Jim and his wife, Rita, attend Willingdon Church in BC where Jim served many years as an Elder. They have five grandchildren.
