About Alexandra Yeung
Alexandra embraces compassion, non-judgement, and warmth as necessities for connecting with others and opening up safe spaces for conversations and healing. She grounds her practice in Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Structural Therapy techniques, depending on an individual's unique needs. Having worked extensively with students in academic support, Alexandra understands the stress that may come with being a student. She has also worked as part of a family health team specializing in older adults, a non-profit supporting those who live with HIV/AIDs, and continues to volunteer on a forum dedicated to young adults journeying through mental illness and trauma. She especially has an interest in working with those who struggle with depression, anxiety, questions of faith and spirituality, sexuality/gender issues, shame/guilt, and life transitions. She enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and playing softball with her friends during her free time.
