I am a Tyndale graduate from both counseling and the Spiritual Direction programs. I have recently after 17 years retired as a registered psychotherapist. As 'Human Beings' we multi-task and then are driven into being 'Human Doers.' Yet God says, "Be still and know that I am God" (Isaiah 46:10). He wants to hear from us, and He gives us His full attention. It is in the "be still" that the knowing takes place. The Holy Spirit impressed on my spirit these words from Isaiah 61:1...He has sent me to (heal) the broken-hearted (to proclaim freedom, to those who are bound up). I would love to accompany you, and together practice the art of Being Still, and like Brother Lawrence, "Practice the Presence of God”, join me as we enter into this "knowing.".
