Rick Wukasch

A pastor and spiritual director, Rick is currently retired from pastoral ministry at Spring Garden Church, North York, and The Meeting House, Oakville, supporting small group community, spiritual formation, prayer, and care ministry teams. Having been in spiritual direction for 30+ years, he trained at Tyndale Seminary and has grown in providing spiritual direction to diverse people during the past 12 years. He has a special interest in journeying with pastors. Rick partners with the Holy Spirit, helping people recognize, experience, and respond to God in everyday life. He facilitates a whole-person, Jesus-centered approach, empowering directees to discover, heal, and thrive in their relationship with God. He enjoys helping directees explore how their personality, learning style, and spiritual “wiring” combine with pertinent spiritual practices to overcome barriers and encourage their God-connection. Husband, father, and grandfather, Rick is most at home with family, hiking, biking, canoeing, or growing gardens.
