The Summer Resident Application is for current and new incoming Tyndale students only who wants to stay in Tyndale Residence during summer. Students may apply for a full summer stay or a monthly stay.
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Prices and deadlines are subject to change.
If you are a current Resident graduating on May 14 (Seminary) or May 28 (Undergraduate) and you would like to continue to stay in residence until your graduation, please contact Campus & Conference Services to make arrangements. Please note that you may not be able to stay in your current room. Students graduating will not be charged for their stay in May.
Application Process
Applying for residence is free and can be completed online.
Your summer application does not guarantee a spot in the residence for Fall or Winter semesters. You must apply separately for Fall/Winter residence to stay in residence in the Fall and/or Winter semesters.

Please note that before your application for residence can be considered, you must first be an accepted Tyndale student. Tyndale students applying for summer residency must have all outstanding fees cleared prior to summer residence acceptance. All policies in the Residence Handbook remain in effect throughout the summer.
Summer Residence Fees
Summer residence fees does not include any meal plan. Meal plans are not available during the Summer residence period. The cafeteria may be open (revised hours) during weekdays to purchase meals. Tyndale reserves the right to adjust opening days/times without prior notice. The cafeteria is closed during weekends.
Payment Options
Tyndale students applying for summer residence must have all outstanding fees on their student account cleared with Student Financial Services prior to applying for summer residence.
All summer residence fees must be paid through Student Financial Services.
Room type is based on availability. If selecting double occupancy, summer residents are required to find their own roommate and specify their name.
