Biography
Grace Kuipers currently operates a private practice where she supports individuals, couples and families in difficult life circumstances with a focus on trauma and relational distress. She also provides supervison to students, qualifying therapists and seasoned therapists. She uses an attachment framework and integrates techniques from post-graduate training in various modalities (ACT, CBT, CPT, EFT, EMDR, IFS, Focusing, MI, psychodynamic, Play Therapy and SFT) in her work with clients. She is a Registered Couple and Family Therapist (AAMFT/CACFT) and a Certified Play Therapist (CAPT). She has held positions at community agencies and private psychotherapy clinics, including Tyndale Wellness Centre. She has a passion for learning and teaching and prior to being a psychotherapist, Grace ran a successful health care communications agency, worked in education both as a primary teacher in the private school system and as adult educator supporting public health professionals across Ontario.
Grace is teaching a course on Professional Ethics in the Spring Summer 2025 semester.
