Course Description

What is God’s expectation for His people and how has God’s people understood God’s mission? Has the understanding of God’s mission by God’s people changed throughout the history? If so, what caused the changes and what were the implications to God’s mission? This course provides an opportunity to critically review the understanding of mission by churches in OT periods, NT periods, Pre-Christendom, Christendom, and Post-Christendom. This review will ultimately lead us to the deeper reflections of the nature of churches we desire to form in multicultural GTA today and in the future.
