Tyndale University
Master of Arts Programs.
Tyndale offers MA programs that robustly address the needs of students and future employers in a changing world.
Children, Youth and Adult Discipleship
We understand the unique challenges that pastors and ministry leaders face in nurturing the discipleship of children, youth, and adults. In a world shaped by peer pressure, social media, and cultural influences, it's crucial to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge to guide others on their spiritual journey.
Clinical Counselling
The Clinical Counselling program prepares students who already have an undergraduate degree in Psychology or other related fields to be counsellors, equipping them to serve in agencies or in private practice. Tyndale’s program is focused on holistic client health, ensuring that students address their spiritual, mental, emotional, physical and social needs first so that they can, in turn, help others.
Historical and Theological Studies
The MA in Historical and Theological Studies is designed for students seeking to deepen their knowledge and expertise in history and theology. With the option to pursue either a thesis or a major research paper, students will gain advanced research and writing skills, specialized knowledge in a particular subject area, and an awareness of relevant methodological issues.
Thanatology
The Thanatology program examines grief and death from many perspectives – physical, ethical, spiritual, medical, sociological and psychological. Students will learn to adapt their skills to a secular or church environment as they support individuals and families confronting end-of-life, bereavement and other issues related to death, grief and loss.
