Residence
To stay in residence, you must commit to 9 months (August plus Fall & Winter Semesters). You need to pay the full amount either when you register or by June 1. View Residence Fees and Meal Plans

Extended Healthcare Benefits
If you are a Tyndale University student taking two or more courses, you must have Extended Healthcare Benefits. Tyndale has partnered with the Student Benefit Alliance to offer insurance coverage. To learn more, you can go to mystudentplan.ca and choose "Tyndale University" from the dropdown menu.
Note
- Extended Healthcare Opt-Out
- A student can opt out of the plan and receive a refund if they have insurance coverage, either through themselves or through family members such as their parents or spouse.
- Dependent Coverage
- A student and their family who currently do not have health and dental insurance have the option of adding dependent coverage.

Residence
Fees
A 9-month commitment (August plus Fall & Winter Semesters) is required to stay in residence. Full payment is required at registration or by June 1.

Tax Free Meal Plan
The meal plan is mandatory for residents during the Fall & Winter Semesters and is not included in the residence fees. Meal credits cannot be converted to cash and expire at the end of each semester. Every resident will receive a swipe card for use in the cafeteria during operating hours. Students with allergies/sensitivities can meet with the cafeteria manager to communicate restrictions.
