About Teen Ranch
Teen Ranch is a year-round Christian retreat facility and summer sports camp that exists to promote and assist in the development of youth through a well-balanced physical, intellectual, social, and non-denominational spiritual program. We aim to serve our campers, guests, and one another with excellence in order to earn the right to share our faith in salvation and abundant living through Jesus Christ. Since 1967, God has blessed us with a rich heritage of committed staff that has helped in the building of facilities, in the development of unique programs, and in serving people. Building on the foundations of yesterday, we lead in a direction that will impact the future of many. Teen Ranch staff are committed to excellence in every area. During the camp season we offer a variety of overnight camp programs including horses, hockey, and adventure camps along with a junior day camp.
Bunk House Leader- Our Bunk House Leaders play a crucial role in the success of our summer camp program as they are provided with the privileged opportunity to speak directly into the lives of campers and share the gospel with them. In addition, Bunk House Leaders may be required to assist with various camp program activities, however their campers must always be the number one priority. Qualifications: Minimum 16 years of age. Applying for all (or most) of the summer. Gifted with children and youth. Enthusiastic, strong leader with the ability to maintain discipline and control. Spiritual maturity is demonstrated by love for God and others. Solid, working knowledge of the Bible.
Mission Description:
- To nurture, develop and mentor a group of 8-10 overnight campers weekly
- Provide a loving, structured, and fun environment where you lead, direct, challenge, and encourage campers in a Christ-like manner
- Plan and facilitate daily Bible devotionals with campers, encourage campers in their morning lessons, provide a positive camp experience
- Maintain discipline and control
-Responsible for safety and participation in all aspects of camp, supervise afternoon camp activities, participate in camp-wide games and campfires
- Attend daily staff Bible devotions.
Junior Day Camp Leader- From the moment we wake up until we go to sleep we have the chance to serve God in the most wonderful way. This age group is full of energy, pushes limits and knows how to have fun. It’s our job as leaders to set parameters and encourage each little one to experience His creation at Teen Ranch. Qualifications: Minimum 16 years of age. Priority is given to staff available all (or most) of the summer (unless returning staff). Prior experience with children is a bonus.

- Responsible for camper safety and participation in all aspects of camp
- Facilitate campers during activity periods
- Participate in daily staff Bible devotional.
Riding Instructor- Serving as barn staff at Teen Ranch is an awesome opportunity to bless and impact campers of all ages through our equestrian program. Qualifications: Minimum 16 years of age. Applying for all (or most) of the summer. Attend the CHA Training Weekend at Teen Ranch in May (unless otherwise agreed upon). Extremely comfortable and safe working with horses. Enthusiastic, strong leader with the ability to maintain discipline and control. Riding ability one level above class taught. Ability and willingness to learn.
Mission Description:
- Instruct Western or English horsemanship classes for 4-6 campers
- Facilitate Wrangler Club - including theory and fun horse activities
- Help lead trail rides, care for the barn, horses, and other barn animals (i.e., roundup, feeds, cleaning stalls, barnyard, treating injuries, etc.)
- Participate in daily staff Bible devotions.
New applicant requirement: submit a brief video of you tacking up, riding, and teaching a rider a short mounted lesson in Western or English.
