Undergraduate Applicants
Please provide an official high school transcript. Official transcripts include a course list, marks, graduation information, and National Examination results.
Seminary & Graduate Applicants
Please provide all official post-secondary transcripts with an Academic/Employer Reference and a Pastoral/Character Reference. Applicants who have studied at educational institutions outside of North America should request a credential evaluation from the World Education Service.
Application Review Process
The Admissions Committee will review your application within one month after receiving all required documents. Complete your application in advance by:
- April 1 to start in September (Fall Semester)
- October 1 to start in January (Winter Semester)
Transfering Credits
Transfer credits will be reviewed after you are accepted in the program. Tyndale accepts up to 2 years of transfer credit into a 4-year degree, or 1.5 years of transfer credit into a 3-year degree. Transfer credit is based on accreditation of the college or university, student GPA and program of choice.
Have you been Accepted?
To secure your spot, submit your tuition deposit online. Your Admissions Counsellor will send you your Immigration Chart which you will need to apply for a study permit. For help submitting your tuition deposit, please contact the Student Financial Services Office by emailing sfs [at] tyndale [dot] ca.
Students who have been accepted and paid their deposit should contact the Office of the Registrar for help with registering for courses.
Applying for Your Study Permit
After you have been accepted and have paid your tuition deposit, you will need to apply for a study permit at the nearest Canadian Embassy or Consulate. When you apply for your study permit you will be required to provide satisfactory evidence to the Canadian Immigration authorities that you are able to meet your educational costs and living expenses. Tyndale will be happy to supply you with an estimate of how much it costs to study at Tyndale.
International students who obtain a study permit are required to be registered full-time which is equivalent to a minimum of 3 courses or 9 credit hours per semester.
Processing your study permit can take up to 6 months. Refer to the CIC website and contact your local Canadian Embassy.
Study Permit Denial
Should your study permit be denied, please write a letter about your visa denial and send it to the Tyndale Admissions Office in order for the deposit to be returned, minus bank administration fees (ie. the cost of wire transfer, approx. $50-$80). A non-refundable amount of $300 will be deducted from the deposit.
