Biography

Dr. Colpitts is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and Clinical Fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). He maintains a part-time therapy practice at the Tyndale Wellness Centre. David is also an instructor in the MDiv Counselling Program at Tyndale Seminary and has been teaching “Gender and Socioeconomic Status in Marriage and Family Therapy” since 2015.  David’s PhD dissertation was titled “God Concept, God Image, and Religious Orientation in Same Gender Attracted Christians” and his dissertation chairperson was Dr. Mark Yarhouse.

Dr. Colpitts is teaching a synchronous online course on Human Sexuality in the Spring & Summer 2024 semester.
