Music and Worship Arts
Minor (BA)
The Music and Worship Arts minor combines musicianship and performance studies with the theology and history of sacred music. This program enables you to have a solid basis musically, biblically and practically to lead in worship music with self-assurance and theological awareness.

With a diverse faculty of professional musicians, students receive world-class music education through leading-edge courses, internships, individual and group training, mentorship, as well as performance and ministry opportunities. Learning from expert practitioners, Tyndale provides a supportive community where musicians can explore their gifting while refining their craft. Combining practical studio training with theoretical knowledge, students gain exposure to a wide range of musical traditions, styles, concepts and artistic expressions through both popular music and sacred music genres.

Performance Opportunities
Multiple opportunities are available to perform at external concerts and services as soloists and in ensemble settings, even partnering and performing with professional musicians throughout the Greater Toronto Area, as well as internal performance opportunities in multiple performance spaces throughout the campus. Students develop leadership skills through Tyndale’s Chapel Program as they lead weekly chapel worship in our breath-taking 56-foot high chapel space with a state-of-the-art sound system.
