What is your role at Tyndale? How long have you been here?

I lead a team responsible for creating opportunities for those outside of Tyndale’s walls – our alumni, supporters, church and parachurch partners, and guests – to stay connected to, and invest in Tyndale through events, information, giving opportunities, and prayer.

What lead you to Tyndale?

I reached a point in my career path where I felt called to use my gifts to be a part of building God’s kingdom.

What is your favourite thing about working here?

My favourite thing is the people I meet on my Tyndale journey everyday. The alumni, students, colleagues, supporters are encouraging. I learn something from each one and it is exciting to see how God is working in their lives.

What sets Tyndale students apart?

The Tyndale students I meet have a deep sense of calling and I see God actively shaping them and giving them visions to make an impact in the world.

What are Tyndale alumni doing around the world?

There’s too little space to describe the impact I see Tyndale alumni making in their communities and around the globe! I am inspired by Tyndale alumni who bring Jesus with them wherever they go.

Why is Christian higher education important?

Christian higher education is important as this is a place where the whole person is valued and nurtured – not just body and mind. A person of faith has the opportunity to integrate faith into everything they do, write, and experience. They are welcome and encouraged to wrestle with the tough questions and be shaped by Spirit-filled faculty who walk alongside them, all while planting the seeds for the impact they will make in the world.

What does 125 years of Tyndale history mean to you?

I think 125 years and the over 12,000 alumni who have been equipped with solid Biblical teaching, shaped to be agents of change, released into the world, affecting millions of people with the love of Jesus.
