Biography

Dr. Chow  is a registered psychotherapist and a registered marriage and family therapist with extensive experience in clinical practice, supervision, and education. He holds the distinction of being a Certified Therapist and Supervisor of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). Additionally, he is a Clinical Fellow and an Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and serves as an RMFT Supervisor Mentor with the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy (CACFT).

In his commitment to the development of future professionals, Dr. Chow also serves as a clinical supervisor with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), training and mentoring upcoming psychotherapists. He divides his time between providing counselling to clients, supervising therapists, and teaching. He is currently an instructor of counselling at Tyndale University and the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where he shares his expertise with students. He has previously taught as a sessional instructor of counselling at the University of Guelph (Open Learning and Educational Support) and Humber Polytechnic.

Dr. Chow teaches Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples in every Spring & Summer Semester.
