We are what we love
Friday, November 7, 2014 —
“We are what we love,” said Dr. James K.A. Smith, Professor of Philosophy at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, during the first part of Tyndale’s two-day Faith Talks event on Tuesday, November 4. At the event, the Tyndale community was privileged to hear Dr. Smith’s three-part series on “Worship, Worldview and Cultural Formation.” He focused on the definition of humans as being lovers, rather than solely thinkers, and explained that it is in worship that we are formed and shaped to go out and carry out our mission in the world.
