Beginning this fall, Tyndale University will offer three new programs to robustly address the needs of students and future employers in a changing world. The new programs are:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Master of Arts in Clinical Counselling (MA)
- Master of Arts in Thanatology (MA)
“This is an exciting time for Tyndale as we add the BBA degree program and expand our reach in graduate program offerings, investing in programs and degree options that will give students their best road to success,” says Dr. Beth Green, Provost and Chief Academic Officer, Tyndale. “We are investing in programs and degree options that offer students excellent pathways to professional and ministry vocations”
“These new degrees deliver a strong, professionally-aligned foundation and provide students with a supportive community in which to develop their knowledge, faith, and character.”
Tyndale University's BBA degree opens multiple career options in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. In this program, students will discover how to combine faith and business to make positive economic, social, spiritual and environmental impacts in the world. Students can expect to gain valuable leadership and management skills along with an in-depth understanding of business principles and practices.
The MA in Clinical Counselling prepares students who already have an undergraduate degree in Psychology or other related fields to be counsellors, equipping them to serve in agencies or in private practice. Tyndale’s program is focused on holistic client health, ensuring that students address their spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and social needs first so that they can, in turn, help others.
The MA in Thanatology will equip students to respond knowledgably, competently and compassionately to the needs of the dying and the bereaved. As the only seminary in Canada offering this specialized program, Tyndale graduates will leave the program uniquely qualified with the skills and confidence to support others in their time of need.
Applications are being accepted now. Visit the respective program pages for more information or contact Tracey Mori, Director, Marketing and Communications.
