Tyndale University College Appoints New Associate Dean
The Board of Governors of Tyndale University College & Seminary is pleased to announce that Dr. Natasha Duquette will assume the position of Associate Dean of the University College beginning August 1, 2014.
“Dr. Natasha Duquette will be an able and valued contributor to the University College faculty, as well as an active scholar and administrator,” said Dr. Barry Smith, Senior Vice President Academic and Dean of Tyndale University College (effective May 1, 2014). “This time of transition is important as Tyndale University College implements significant strategic objectives that move our community towards student growth and programmatic impact. Dr. Duquette will work directly with me to implement these strategic objectives.”
Dr. Duquette holds a PhD in English from Queen’s University, and comes to Tyndale from Biola University in Southern California, where she was Associate Professor of English, and the Chair of Biola University Department of English. Prior to her tenure at Biola University, Dr. Duquette taught English at Taylor University College, Trent University and Royal Military College. In addition to her experience as a university lecturer and Chair of Biola University Department of English, Dr. Duquette provided leadership as Chair of Biola University General Education Council, and Chair of several national and international conference panels.
