Tyndale University celebrates its racial and ethnic diversity. However, nurturing understanding, reconciliation and building community amidst racial and cultural diversity is a challenging, complex process. The current racial tensions in the United States has only heighted an awareness that Canada is not exempt from those tensions.
To our staff, students and faculty to whom this is a particularly painful time, we want you to know that we stand with you. We also are working toward conversations and dialogues which might take place both in the near future online and over the Fall Semester. We are committed to creating venues and conversations facilitated and resourced by the Student Association, the student led BET (Black Educators of Tyndale), faculty and staff. Our goal is to nurture mutual understanding, respect and reconciliation in our multicultural setting.
