Module 4: Narratives and Spiritual Formation

This course will introduce students to the power of imagination and story in spiritual growth. We will explore how stories, fairy tales and myths speak to patterns in our lives. By the end of the class, students will become familiar with the importance of a sanctified imagination, why story is so critical in spiritual growth as well as ways and means of engaging with story personally and in community.

  • Find and redeem our stories in the greater narrative of God’s love

Facilitator

Lyndsay is an instructor at Tyndale Seminary in the Clinical Counselling and Thanatology programs. She is also a registered psychotherapist and who works primarily with kids and families and individual adults. She is working on a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation with a focus on the use of imagination, story and somatic experiencing for spiritual growth.
