Paneling Social Impact at Toronto Business Summit

On Sept 7, the CRE participated in the Toronto Business Summit as both a panel speaker and an exhibitor. It was an exciting event attended by thousands. It took place at University of Toronto (Scarborough Campus) and saw attendees from the local community and beyond.

The Director of the CRE, Philip Yan, was a panelist speaking on “ Scaling Strategies For Sustainable Business Growth”. We were also exhibitors for the day and that allowed us to share about the work of the CRE.

As the Centre for Redemptive Entrepreneurship, and linked to a Christian university, it’s not often that we have the opportunity to present outside of faith-based settings. This was one of the first times we were able to engage with the ‘public square’ and we look forward to more in the future.
