Explains the impact of Trauma on individuals, groups, and society, focusing on the origins and sources; types of trauma disorders; and interventions applied in practice to mitigate the effects. Trauma is a deeply distressing or disturbing experience. Students will use selected case studies to enhance their understanding of the theories covered by the course.
