Academic Tutoring is available for all Undergraduate students (excluding BEd) for up to one hour per week. Our focus in Academic Tutoring is supporting you in better understanding course content. Some examples include:
- Going over vocabulary or grammar rules for a language class.
- Reviewing formulas and problem-solving skills in Statistics.
- A review of tricky concepts in your Philosophy or Theology courses.
- And much more!
We also offer general tutoring appointments on the skills it takes to be a successful student. We can help you hone your notetaking or reading skills, test-taking or study skills, time management skills, and more.
Please note that we will not always be able to accommodate students for tutoring in all subjects or to the extent that you may feel necessary. For students with documented learning disabilities, additional services may be available. Please visit Accessibility Services for further information about support and accommodation.
From time to time, our tutors will also host study groups for selected courses.
