Seminary Online

Tyndale wants you to pursue your calling despite the busy-ness of life. Our solution to this is Seminary Online. Tyndale’s Seminary Online program allows people who are unable to study in a traditional format to pursue and complete a Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies online in one year.

There are many individuals who are interested in attending Tyndale Seminary and in getting a theological education, but just don’t have the time or flexibility to commit to coming in to campus every week. Whether this is because of full-time work, transportation issues, being too far away to commute to campus, or family obligations, full time is simply not possible for many individuals hoping to pursue theological studies.

Distance Learning

Seminary Online is specifically designed so that the students taking the courses never have to step foot on campus. Whether you are across the street or across the country, Seminary Online makes it possible to learn from Tyndale’s faculty. The faculty is available on line, prompt in answering and knowledgeable.

You have the option to learn on your schedule, with little to no need for being online at a specific time. The courses are highly interactive with weekly topical question and answer sections where all students in the class and the professor debate and explore topical issues. The courses are designed to develop a learning, supportive community online.

Program Opportunities

Tyndale Seminary currently offers a wide selection of online courses, offered regularly on a rotational basis.

A Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies is offered through Seminary Online that can be completed in one year of full-time study. Students in the MDiv and MTS programs can take up to 9 online courses for credit towards their degree the equivalent to the first year of both degrees on campus. The courses are transferable into these programs. If you are unable to attend Tyndale to pursue a graduate degree, the courses are transferable to other seminaries for similar degrees.

If you are interested in only taking one course at Tyndale, please fill out our visiting student application.
