Tyndale Church eNewsletter

Greetings from the faculty, staff and students at Tyndale University College and Seminary.
I have just returned from a trip to the Middle East. It was wonderful and warm. The sky was blue and the land was dry. Coming back home, I remember how much I love our Canadian seasons. I particularly love the change of the seasons. Each season has an appeal of its own. It seems to me that the fall colors this year have been extraordinary in their brilliance.
I have watched the maple tree out my window turn from yellow to red, and now unadorned branches awaiting the buds of spring. It brings to mind the words of Daniel 2:21 “He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” I realize that Christ is the orchestrator of the seasons and brings about change both within and without.
The fall is a busy season in the church with new programs, new opportunities and new challenges. We are praying for you as you seek to be Christ’s hands and feet in your community. We are also aware of the need in all of our churches to train and equip strong and gifted leaders. We are so pleased to offer your church a number of resources that will assist you to be more effective in both your outreach and discipleship. May you have God’s peace and hope as you walk through this season of change.
Please enjoy your fall e-newsletter. In it you’ll find a number of links to upcoming events, seminars, and classes. Please take a look to see if there is anything that might be “just what you are looking for” to assist you and your church family.
Blessings upon you and your family
