Players and substitutions:
Five players (including the Goalkeeper) are on the court at one time. There must be at least three players on the court to start the game. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit and automatic win for the opposing side.
There are unlimited substitutions which can be made at any time, as long as the player being replaced has already left the court.
Each game will consist of 2 - 20 min halves with a 5 min half time.
The game will start with rock/paper/scissors to determine who gets first ball.
The game starts with the ball in the goalies hands, from where he passes the ball to his team-mates.
Only the goalkeeper is allowed to enter the goal area; however court players are allowed to enter the goal area air space as long as they are not touching the floor
A team has to pass the ball over the half line, either by self pass off the wall or directly to another player.
If at any point the ball is dropped or hit down by the opposing side, it is considered a dead ball and the opposing side picks up the ball from where it last hit the ground.
A player has three seconds and or a maximum of 3 steps before they have to either shoot or pass.
If a shot is made with a foot on the line or over the goal line, the shot will not be counted and the goalie will maintain possession.
Defensively and offensively a player cannot at any time use force to restrain, hold or push a player.
If the defensive player establishes position prior to the offensive move and is charged in the attacking process, the play will be whistled down and the defensive side will gain possession. However, if the defensive player jumps in front of the offensive player last minute, it will be considered a foul and a penalty shot will be awarded.
If a ball is deflected by a player or goalie after a shot, providing it is not in the goalie crease, any player may attempt to recover it.
The team with the highest score at the end of two periods will be declared the winner.
